It's clearly a small budget game but that doesn't mean it can't be fun. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
Edit: Apparently Kinja is acting up again. It ate my last post.

Why am I not surprised this is Finnish. Also, merry Independence Day, KAC!

When you look at the bigger picture on their site you'll notice that Arch Dukes designs are actually better. Maybe he should get in touch with these guys...

have you seen the game Rallyman? It's similar I imagine to this one, and quite a lot of fun.

This is awesome. Happy independence day KAC.
Here is an independence day question... What is your favorite thing about Finland?

Thanks! That is a hard question to answer, I don't honestly know if I can answer it. It's nice to have hugely different seasons and midnight sun. That and sauna, salmiakki and sisu (the character trait, although the pastilles are good too and it's nice that we have at least one car/truck manufacturer here)

That's pretty neat. I think both my favourite thing and least favourite thing about Canada is how big it is. It's fun to tell people from other countries I could drive in my province for 26 hours in one direction and still be in the same province! Their jaw tends to drop haha. However when one grew up 5 provinces away...it makes it hard to visit since it's at least a 3 day drive.

I can see that making visiting some people more difficult. I think Finland is pretty ideal size. It takes about 20 hours to drive from the southernmost point to the northernmost and the population being only about 5 million it's far from cramped here.
Since you're from Canada, have you ever experienced midnight sun?

Unfortunately I have never been to the north. Fun fact about Canada: 90% of the population lives in the south within 100 kms of the USA.
If it wasn't for the Albertan cities of Calgary and Edmonton, it'd be even more.
I live in Ottawa so the territories (northern provinces if you will) aren't very accessible from here. The eastern most territory does not have any roads into it. So this is the eastern most road up to that area...it's REALLY far!

However this year I am planning to go to Northern Quebec in August so maybe I could see it in late August. Down here in the south the sun sets at 9:00pm at the latest which annoys me, since where I am from it set around 10:00.

Anyways I can't wait to get to the true north this summer. That road (james Bay road) is 691 kms with no towns. There is one gas station at km 381.

I knew most of the population lives near southern border, that's why I was unsure if you've experienced it.
Where I live the sun sets for about an hour even in midsummer. Ended up spending last midsummer in city. It's quite special feeling to be walking around the almost empty city at night while the sun is still shining.
The negative thing about that though is that the sun sets around 4pm now.

My dad went to Oslo once (different country I know but same-ish latitude right?)
He said to himself "he'd get dinner when it got dark" After a while re realized he was starving, but the sun was still up and it was barely dusk. He checked the clock...it was 10:30 pm lol.

Haha. Yeah Oslo and Helsinki are about same latitudes (Fun fact: Helsinki has the world's northernmost metro).

That's neat. Do they have any above ground sections to plow? Ottawa doesn't have a metro. Just busses. We suck. Ha!

Yeah, most of the eastern end is above ground while the western end is below (no southern or northern lines). I've never seen anyone plow the tracks so I assume they are heated or something.

I grew up in Edmonton, Alberta and the difference in summer daylight hours between there and my current home, Montreal, is noticeable.
My sister lives a bit further north than Edmonton, near Grande Prairie, Alberta, and when she sends me pictures in the summer at 11pm it looks like full daylight outside!
I miss the light, but on the other hand, I don't miss the dark of winter and the -35C temperatures!
